Yuhua: “Magistrate, why do I see certain women followed by two or three male ghosts?”
Magistrate: “Such persons harbor strong lustful inclinations and often dress in provocative ways. Their aura draws lust‑driven male ghosts who hover nearby, seeking opportunity to prey upon them. These ghosts drain vital essence, bringing ruin to both body and mind.”
Yuhua: “What remedy is there for those guilty of wearing revealing clothing?”
Magistrate: “Those with religious faith may kneel before their revered founder to confess and repent, vowing never to repeat the offence. Buddhists repent before Shakyamuni Buddha; Christians before Jesus; Daoists before the Three Pure Ones. Persons without religious belief may, on an auspicious, rain‑free night at the midnight hour, light three sticks of incense, kneel facing the heavens, confess their fault to heaven, and resolve never to dress in such a manner again. Sincere, earnest supplication will bring natural resonance with heaven and earth.”
Yuhua: “Magistrate, may I pass these teachings on to the public?”
Magistrate: “That is exactly what I wish you to do. May all people awaken, abandon old misdeeds and cultivate virtue henceforth. What a blessing! What a blessing!”
Supplement Three The Bell‑Ringing and Pill‑Swallowing Hell — Ayù Weeps in Sorrow for Middle‑School Students
Grateful for the empowerment of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, I set forth by white lotus flower.
“Amitabha. I, Ayù, press my palms and pay homage to you, Magistrate.”
Today the Magistrate took me to observe judgments in the Tribunal of the Hell of Licentiousness. He said to me, “This Hell of Licentiousness is newly built. No such vast hell has ever existed throughout history. The original hells were much smaller, merely consisting of the hells governed by the Ten Kings. Yet countless living people committed sexual transgressions in the mortal realm; after death, they flocked here to receive karmic punishment. The old boundaries can no longer hold them. New construction is ongoing endlessly, and the hell realm has undergone reclassification. The Hell of Licentiousness ranks among the largest hells by land area, practically the biggest of all hells. Construction work is still in progress, and it will expand even further in the future.” Damned souls of every age come here to suffer torments, and this hell has more subdivisions than any other hell.
