The Magistrate stated: “Any mortal who circulates pornographic publications and discs either in person or through computers incurs karmic retribution equal to that of those who sell such materials. Their standard punishment consists of one hundred thousand years of torment in hell. For severe offenses, they cannot be released from boundless hellish suffering until every piece of pornographic content they spread vanishes entirely from the mortal world. From the very first time someone shares obscene materials, the black and white co-born deities accompanying them, who record good and evil, record the deed instantly. Each act of circulation depletes their blessings and lifespan. While they are still living, nether attendants will first seize their living souls and bring them to the Rod and Whip Hell for punishment. I have previously described the horrific scenes of this hell, so I will not elaborate here. Mortals feel headaches and muddled, confused consciousness; most feel feverish and have nightmares, then wake with stinging pains all over their bodies. Those who have undergone such soul punishments during their lifetimes and then sincerely repent and reform may have their future hellish karmic penalties mitigated or remitted. Nevertheless, final judgments will be made after evaluating each individual case. Stubborn wrongdoers whose blessings are exhausted will be directly cast into the Hells of Sexual Misconduct. The specific hell they enter depends on the type of content they circulated:
• Those sharing only materials concerning masturbation are sent to the Pill-Swallowing Hell;
• Those spreading only pornographic computer images go to the Electric Eye Hell;
• Those distributing only discs depicting sexual misconduct involving one man and two women, or one woman and two men, are condemned to the Gear, Wolf and Snake Hell;
• Those who share only pornographic discs featuring incest suffer torment in the Inverted Wheel Ice Hell.
Such examples are innumerable. Anyone guilty of circulating all these varieties of pornographic content must endure punishment sequentially in every corresponding Hell of Sexual Misconduct. You have personally visited all these hells, Ayù. Return now and tell sentient beings in the mortal world that circulating pornographic publications and discs creates boundless evil karmas leading to hell. Exhort them to abandon this harmful habit as soon as possible, lest they harm both themselves and others. Technology is advanced today; information can spread across the globe through computers within mere seconds. Yet do people ever stop to reflect? In spreading such information that harms people’s spiritual nature, one unwittingly sows boundless evil karma leading to hell in an instant. Sentient beings of the mortal world ought to cherish their rare human bodies. Otherwise, the righteous energy of heaven and earth will fall out of balance, and disasters will inevitably descend upon the human world, prompting people to examine themselves. By then, it will be too late. When disasters descend, evil karma has already ripened; immense suffering will engulf humanity, and scenes of grief will be seen everywhere. Out of compassion, the Buddha specially sent you, Ayù, to visit the netherworld. Hasten back and share everything you have seen with the sentient beings in the mortal world.”
After prostrating in gratitude to the Magistrate for his efforts, I returned home by white lotus flower.
